Is Netscape News doing the bidding of the Republican Party?

Granted, I have no evidence of Netscape's political persuasion. Nonetheless.....

The headline on the main Netscape news page reads "Dems Indicted; Clinton, Kerry Targeted." Readers just skimming this page might think "what have they done now?" For about three seconds, that's sort of what I thought. Fortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Kerry weren't indicted by any actual court of law. Once you click on the article's link, you learn that Republican Party chairman Ken Mehlman gave a speech to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in Tennessee where he launched "a broad indictment of the Democratic Party six months before midterm elections." In other words, they were indicted by the head of the opposing party, something the initial headline doesn't mention. In other words, NETSCAPE NEWS IS MISLEADING ITS READERS!!!

Please write them and complain.

First, I feel compelled to complain about your abuse of the humlble apostrophe. Correct use would be: "Netscape News is misleading ITS readers!"

I highly recommend this book. I bet you didn't think it was possible to write a humor book about punctuation!
